Booking and Refund Policy
Our events are led by Northern writers and we keep the costs as low as we can while paying a fair rate to all workshop leaders. Each event must have a minimum number of attendees booked so that it can go ahead. If we do not reach this number within 7 days of the event, we will cancel the event and provide full refunds.
If you can no longer attend, we offer a full refund if your ticket is cancelled up to 30 days prior to the event. If you cancel within 30 days of the event, no refund will be issued. If we cancel the event, a full refund will be issued.
If you attend a free event or are offered a free place and need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to redistribute tickets to our waiting list.
The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons.
· You have attended a workshop or event
· You subscribe to our newsletter.
· You have made an enquiry to us.
By subscribing to our email list or attending a workshop/event, you are agreeing to receive emails from us. This includes but is not limited to monthly newsletters, updates about Northern Writers Studio events and opportunities for writers.
We never share, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone. We never share any other contact information you may have provided to us.
You may choose to opt-out at any time, which will cease all communications from Northern Writers Studio. You can do this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or clicking UNSUBSCRIBE at the bottom of our newsletters. If you wish to opt-in again, you can do so via the sign-up form on our website.
In line with GDPR, we will be in touch periodically to confirm you wish to continue to share your data with Northern Writers Studio.
